About Us

Jack Anderson

Jack Anderson is the founder & chief visionary behind the Los Angeles Solar System Project,  an idea he began developing over 20 years ago. He has spent decades creating science and nature experiences at cultural institutions across the country, from the Birch Aquarium at Scripps and the Natural History Museum to the California Academy of Sciences. His career in science communication began at the Museum of Flight in Seattle in the 1980s, and he returned to space in 2015 with Boeing's Above and Beyond.

Now, after two decades of development, the installation has begun.
